The Aeroflow Performance inline thermostat housing allows you to remote mount a thermostat inline in between the top radiator hose from
your cooling system away from the engine. This is useful for cars that have no room to allow the thermostat to be on the engine block. This
inline thermostat accepts a 1.5” (38mm) radiator hose and takes a standard Chevy thermostat (Sold Separately). Machined from billet
aluminium and available in polished or black anodised finishes.
Dimensions:
Length = 3.93” ( 100mm )
Diameter = 3.14” ( 80mm )

INSTALLATION
1. Install the supplied seal on your GM Chevy thermostat (Sold Separately). Stretch the seal around the outer edge of the thermostat
(make sure the edge of the thermostat goes into the groove in the seal).
I. Note: the GM Chevy thermostat is not included with this package and it is recommended to use this seal when using our
inline thermostat housing.
2. Disassemble the thermostat housing by unscrewing the two halves to
separate.
3. Install the thermostat with seal into the thermostat housing
4. Screw both pieces together and tighten
5. It is recommended to install into the radiator hose that returns coolant to the radiator (this is usually the upper radiator hose). Make
sure the thermostat flow direction arrow is toward the radiator.
6. It is suggested that you leave the OEM internal by-pass passages or hoses on your engine in place to circulate coolant inside the
engine when the thermostat is not open.
