Affidavit from applicant on prescribed format notarized by Public State (Firmly inform
applicants to provide true information)
Applicant statement that he/she has not availed any either Pakistani/USA scholarship for
degree
Applicant of the applicant (Reasons for applying NOC/Statement of reason signed) must
have contact information, father name, CNIC, valid Email ID.
Certificate of eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student/Exchange Visitor Status issued by
Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Custom Enforcement/USA
department of state.
J1 Visa Waiver Recommendation Application
Copy of Visa/Passport
Copy of CNIC/NICOPE/Academic Degrees
Admission/Job/Joining/reference letters
Any other additional supporting documents

Duration of Process:
I. HEC will inform Embassy about the deficiency in application form if any within 7-14
working days of receipt of application via email.
II. HEC will process and issue NOC/Rejection Letter via email within 15 to 30 working days
(case to case basis) after receipt of entire pre-requisite documents.
III. Embassy will inform HEC about the status of the applicants either waiver granted or not in
due course of time.
