A. PURPOSE
To establish policies and procedures for regular season complimentary tickets to Seattle Mariners
home games provided to team members.
B. POLICY
Team members receive complimentary tickets in recognition of their efforts to support our
business providing an exceptional Major League Baseball experience for our fans. In addition,
the Mariners offer complimentary tickets to encourage team members to view our product in
person, and become more familiar with our brand. Tickets are also provided to allow family and
friends to attend games to ensure their working knowledge of our product, become more familiar
with each team members role at the Mariners, and give them the opportunity to be
ambassadors for our product in the community.
TEAM MEMBER ELIGIBILITY
1. FRONT OFFICE STAFF
Eligible Front Office staff may receive up to 4 complimentary tickets per home game by requesting
tickets through the Mariners online ticket request system. Complimentary ticket requests for more
than 4 tickets may be approved on a case-by-case basis by the requestor’s supervising Vice
President. These tickets, depending upon the location of the seats and attendance for the game,
may or may not be a taxable benefit to the Front Office member. The Mariners reserve the right
to black out select games and to add or exclude additional games during the season as ticket
availability changes.
Front Office staff attending a game alone or with another team member may sit in an unoccupied
seat (excluding seats in the Diamond Club, All-Star Club, Charter Seats, or Suites), after
identifying yourself (with your Front Office ID badge) to the nearest Seating Host. Front Office
staff bringing guests to a game must request complimentary tickets for each attendee as
described above.
2. EVENT STAFF (SEASONAL)
Event Staff (seasonal employees) are eligible for up to 4 complimentary tickets per month for
pre-selected games by requesting tickets through the Mariners online ticket request system.
They may be eligible to upgrade to Terrace Club or Main Level tickets for a small fee per ticket.
Event Staff must follow the complimentary ticket retrieval steps provided in their Team Member
Handbook using their Team Member Offer Code. Event Staff may not give their Offer Code to
friends or family, use other Event Staff Offer Codes, or acquire complimentary tickets on behalf
of other Event Staff. The Mariners reserve the right to black out select games and add or

exclude additional games during the season as ticket availability changes.
3. BASEBALL OPERATIONS STAFF
Members of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) may receive
complimentary tickets by requesting such tickets through the CompTix system, consistent with
the CompTix policy.
When traveling for business, Baseball Operations staff who are not MLBPA members may receive
up to 4 complimentary tickets to away games by requesting such tickets through the CompTix
system. For home games, non-MLBPA Baseball Operations staff may receive up to 4
complimentary tickets per home game by requesting tickets through the Mariners online ticket
request system. Complimentary ticket requests for more than 4 tickets may be approved on a
case-by-case basis by a Vice President. These tickets, depending upon the location of the seats
and attendance for the game, may or may not be a taxable benefit to the Baseball Operations
member. The Mariners reserve the right to black out select games and to add or exclude
additional games during the season as ticket availability changes.
C. TICKET ELIGIBILITY
1. Opening Day Tickets:
Front Office staff will receive Opening Day tickets. These tickets are tax-free and will be added to the
Front Office members online MyMariners Account and Ballpark App to manage. Front Office staff in
Director-level roles and above will receive 4 tickets to Opening Day at T-Mobile Park. All other
eligible Front Office staff will receive 2 tickets to Opening Day. Tickets are distributed to Front Office
staff according to position and date of hire.
2. Tickets for the Balance of the Season:
A. Games to which over 40,000 tickets have been sold are considered to be “Sold Out.” If a
game is not Sold Out, then all team member complimentary tickets are provided on a tax-
free basis, with the exception of Main Level sections 119-141, which will be taxed at 80%
of the season ticket value. The locations of tax-free and taxable tickets are subject to
change.

Sold Out. All tickets to Sold Out games are taxable to the team member at 80% of the
tickets’ season ticket price, regardless of seat location.
C. The policy and procedures for post-season tickets will be addressed separately. This
policy addresses complimentary tickets for the Mariners regular baseball season only.
D. Team member questions regarding complimentary tickets should be directed to the team
member’s immediate supervisor.
3. Additional Tickets:

and details can be found at Mariners.com/employeetix.
B. BUSINESS COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS
The Ticket Office has a limited inventory of complimentary tickets that are provided for
business purposes, on a game-by-game basis. Team members requesting tickets for
business purposes must do so through the Business Comp Request system, and must
identify how the request serves a business purpose. All such requests require approval
from a supervising Vice President.
C. TEAM MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY
Complimentary tickets are a team member benefit, made available for team members to
attend and enjoy games with family and friends. The benefit will be closely monitored by
the Mariners throughout the season. Team members are responsible for all complimentary
tickets requested, regardless of whether or not the team member is attending the game.
Team member complimentary tickets may never be given away to persons the team
member does not know, or be sold or exchanged in return for personal gain. Personal
gain relating to complimentary tickets includes accepting any form of gratuity, gift,
or compensation (including reimbursement for the taxes you pay) in exchange for
such tickets. It is the team member’s responsibility when distributing these tickets
to family and friends to communicate that these complimentary tickets may not be
sold or exchanged in return for personal gain. Team members found to have violated
this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
