SOUND RECORDING: WHAT IS IT?
There are several different types of sound recorders who specialize in
different technical aspects of the job for recording and mixing. A sound
recording is responsible for the digital audio workstation that record, edit,
mix, manipulating the equalization, special effects the sound and
reproduce the sound track, so they present the best performance
consistent with the artist's vision. Also some recording end up designing and
controlling the sound at films, in theaters, and in any other venue that
requires sound projection for an audience. By controlling microphones,
sound levels, and outputs, sound recorders combine their well-trained ears
with their knowledge of acoustics to produce the best quality of sound for
a variety of purpose.
